The Windows collection showcases Minase’s vision of geometry; a mean to emphasize aesthetic dimensions of beauty. The geometric design of the watch is something never seen in watchmaking. Each one of the 7 sides of the case is adorned with a crystal window enabling a 360° view upon the movement. The Windows collection is available in stainless steel or in 18K rose or yellow gold.
Manufactured in Japan, all Minase timepieces bear the registered label “HiZ“, a concept inspired by the Japanese words Hizu (exceptional) and Hi Izuru Kuni (Land of the rising sun).
The products labelled HiZ are unique with innovative features such as the “case in case” structure, the extraordinary Sallaz finish and the construction principle “MORE” (Minase Original Rebuild Equation).
Skilled craftsmen spend more than 20 hours to polish a single watch. The flawless mirror polished surfaces stand in perfect contrast to the brushed areas. The top sapphire crystal is spherical on both of its axis and has an antireflective coating. The polyhedric crown bears the brand’s logo, a drill head that pays homage to the origins of the parent company, Kyowa.

Based on ETA 2892 ébauches, this high-end execution displays hand-finished surfaces with perlage, blue screws, bridges with diamond polished bevels and a main plate/bridges in black or.
The brand’s drill head logo is displayed on the rotor. It is assembled with MPS lubrication-free bearings and with its ETACHRON regular system, this is a very high precision, TOP range execution.
Minase is one of the rare watch brands to use Sarazu polishing. The handmade finition technique is very difficult to master but gives the stainless steel parts an amazing brilliance and reflection. Also know as mirror polish, sarazu is achieved by holding the steel pieces against a wheel turning that polishes the material thanks to diamond powder.
With a 40×32 mm case instead of the regular 38×51, the midsize collection is perfect for smaller wrists. The watches are fitted with 5 sapphire crystals on top, on the back of the watch, at 9 and at 3 on both sides of the crown.
