Minase steel bracelets are made of 316L steel. The 5-link bracelets are uniquely designed and feature a combination of original facets and exceptional finishing. The top surfaces of the outer and inner “links” are brushed with the far sides featuring polished bevels. The thinner separating links are fully hand-polished with the Sallaz technique.

Sarazu Finishing Technique
Sallaz polishing (most commonly known as sarazu) is a technique of finishing used to give steel parts a perfectly smooth surface. Very time consuming, the technique needs great skills.
At Minase, only a handful of craftsmen can adjust the contact between the watch parts and the polishing disk just by using their sensitive fingertips. The remaining corners are only 2/100 mm, so, the risk that the corners become rounded is high. Every tiny piece of Minase metal straps are polished that way !
