For its rose gold cases, Minase uses 18-carat gold, containing 75 per cent of pure metal. Since pure gold would be too soft for a watch case, it is blended with a mix of copper and silver. Rose gold watches contain more copper in order to get the desired color.

Rose Gold Dial
Famous Japanese gold watch sculptor Keiji Kanagawa engraves gold cases or gold dials upon the customer’s request. Timepieces can further be enhanced with a Kanji symbol engraved on the rose gold dial, or any dial from a classic one to one displaying traditional Japanese craft, such as Makie, silver filigree or needle art.
