Mastercraft J3
Inspired by one of Minase’s earliest creations, The Mastercraft J3 collection gathers all Minase ingredients : precision engineering, meticulous hand-finishing and timeless proportions. Every line has been refined, every surface considered. The result is a mechanical watch that expresses the quiet elegance of Japanese craftsmanship.

Light Sand Dials
The Mastercraft J3 is available in three dial colors: white, beige and grey, all developed to create subtle depth and a soft interaction with light depending in the viewing angle and environment. Sharp-cut hands create a refined contrast against the sand-textured dial surface, adding subtle dimensionality to the minimalist design. To enhance the visibility, both indexes and the hands are treated with blue luminescent material.
Straps
The J3 offers a variety of interchangeable strap options, allowing wearers to personalize their watch thanks to a one-touch quick-change system for effortless interchangeability. Additional straps and bracelets may be purchased separately.
Japanese movement
For the first time in the brand’s history, Minase’s J3 series features a Japanese movement. The J3 is powered by the MIYOTA 90S5 automatic movement. Made by Citizen and launched in 2019, it is a popular and reliable engine and consists in an affordable alternative to Swiss calibers.
Free sizing of your watch
We offer the possibility to size steel bracelet to your wrist's size at no charge. To this effect, kindly fill in the bellow space. Without any information from you, a watch with standard size bracelet will be provided.
01. Print model
Print out this page onto an A4 piece of paper, ensuring that you do not have “Fit to page/Page scaling” selected.
02. Verify
Compare the bracelet size guide with a ruler to double check it has printed to the correct scale.
03. Cut
If the scale is correct, cut out the bracelet size guide around its borders, and cut along the dotted line between the two X marked at the bottom of the scale.
04. Measure
Place the size guide around your wrist, and pull the pointed end through the slit. Make sure there is enough room left around the wrist to allow for an index finger to fit through.
05. Done !
Read the measurement in millimeters (mm) as it appears through the slit. This is your watch bracelet size !

Minase is a boutique watch manufacturer based in Akita Prefecture, Japan. Producing less than 500 pieces a year, Minase’s philosophy is to make unique, beautiful and highly qualitative hand-made watches that embody the values, traditions and typical crafts of Japan.
When it was founded 15 years ago, Minase decided to hire people from the region and train them following the principle of Monozukuri: learning by doing, again and again.
